How the assessment works

A deliberate, documented sequence — from intake to a written assessment you can hand to a lawyer, insurer or internal investigator.

What the terms mean

Initial automated screening

Software indicators that may point to areas worth examining. Screening output is never presented as a conclusion.

Manual forensic examination

Structured inspection of the file, its metadata, encoding characteristics and visual or temporal consistency.

Technical findings

What the material does and does not show, expressed with the confidence the evidence actually supports.

Evidential limitations

Compression, re-encoding, screenshots and downloads from platforms can remove the traces an examination depends on.

Legal determination

Whether something is unlawful, defamatory or admissible is a matter for courts and lawyers, not for this assessment.

This service provides an independent technical assessment of the submitted material. It does not guarantee that manipulation can always be conclusively established, and it does not replace legal advice, law-enforcement investigation or a court-appointed expert opinion.
